Soccer in Erie is about to take a massive step towards a fully professional club being based at the Erie Sports Center. We have been awarded licenses in the top tier Pathway to Pro League in the country for both men and women. It is an honor for our facility and the city to be recognized with the awarding of a USL 2 and USL W license for Spring 2025. This will see us competing against the like so of the Pittsburgh Riverhounds right here in Erie!!

 

This is a major boost for female sport in the city as well being the only professional women’s sport representing the city. It is part of our plan to make opportunities available to local players but to also bring in some top talent from around the country and internationally to be highly competitive in these leagues. Our facility offers a unique opportunity to be able to house, feed and provide world class medical facilities during their stay, which will help significantly with player recruitment.
